Commercial Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are available in two basic formats:-
Tracked Sliding Gates
As the name suggests, this type of gate runs on a track which is fixed onto/into the road surface. Advantages of this system are that it is usually more cost effective than a cantilever gate and can be made to cover a larger opening.
Cantilever Sliding Gates
This is a self supporting system, eliminating the need for a ground track, making it very neat and attractive in appearance. It is highly recommended if high volumes of traffic or heavy goods vehicles use the entrance and where the road is not level across its width.
Whichever type of gate is chosen, it will offer very high levels of security and unsurpassed reliability, due to the inherent design of the motor/gearbox system.
Our sliding gate systems are available in almost any size, style/design & colour.
As a general rule, most gates fall into one of the following specifications:-
- Size – between 1.8m high and 3m high.
- Style / Design – Vertical bar, mesh & palisade infill.
- Colours – Galvanised only, Black, Green or a company corporate colour.
All our automated gate systems are designed and installed to the current safety regulations (Machinery Directive 98/37/EEC and EN13241-1, EN12453 & EN12445)
