Sliding Gates

Automated Security Design are finding that more & more people are purchasing automated sliding gate systems because they offer very high levels of security and unsurpassed reliability. There are many designs & styles available including wrought iron, solid boarded and even gates which ive the impression they are hinge gates!

There are two types of sliding gates available. The most simple & cost effective being the type which runs on a track on the ground. An alternative to this is the cantilever system which is self-supporting, eliminating the need for a track, giving a very neat and attractive appearance.

As with our hinge gate automations, Automated Security Designs pay particular attention to choosing the correct gate operator for each application and always ensure that it is capable of operating a much larger gate than required.

We only use automation equipment which is manufactured by well established companies, which have substantial technical support & backup in the UK.

To ensure that the installation looks good we always house the motor & gearbox in a lockable housing, specially made by Automated Security Design, which hides away all the workings & cables etc. This also makes it more secure and less prone to tampering by children or passers by.

To ensure we include for all the related works, including ground works & cabling, we recommend that a full survey is performed prior to a written quotation being produced.
