Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are available in two basic formats:-

• Tracked – As the name suggests, this type of gate runs on a track which is fixed onto/into the road surface. Advantages of this system are that it is usually more cost effective than a cantilever gate and can be made to cover a larger opening.
• Cantilever – This is a self supporting system, eliminating the need for a ground track, making it very neat and attractive in appearance. It is highly recommended if high volumes of traffic or heavy goods vehicles use the entrance and where the road is not level across its width.

Whichever type of gate is chosen, it will offer very high levels of security and unsurpassed reliability, due to the inherent design of the motor/gearbox system.

Our sliding gate systems are available in almost any size, style/design & colour.
As a general rule, most gates fall into one of the following specifications:-

• Size – between 1.8m high and 3m high.
• Style/Design – Vertical bar, mesh & palisade infill.
• Colours – Galvanised only, Black, Green or a company corporate colour.

Hinge Gates




The two most popular ways of automating industrial/commercial hinge gates is as follows:-

• Above ground operator – This operator is fixed onto the back of the gate and in most circumstances is hydraulically powered. This is the most popular solution as it offers very high power for large gates, is easy to service & repair and is also very cost effective
• Underground operator – As the name suggests, this is mounted discreetly beneath ground level and is generally hydraulically powered. This is popular for applications where aesthetics are very important and where wide angle openings are required.

Our hinge gate systems are available in most sizes, styles & colours to site all applications. Although most reputable companies can provide you with attractive looking gates, many do not have the experience or skills to automate them effectively.

On many occasions problems are created from the outset by the use of low cost automation equipment, by choosing the wrong operator for the job and by fitting the equipment incorrectly.

Prior to us attending your premises to carry out the installation, all the necessary brackets & fixings are pre-fabricated to ensure the completed system not only looks good but is also well engineered.

To ensure we include for all the related works, including ground works & cabling, we recommend that a full survey is performed prior to a quotation being produced.
